1. There seem to be about 12 different Canadian actors, and at one time or another I think they've each appeared on Due South AND Red Green.
2. If you haven't watched Due South, you should. It's like if JoeB was a Mountie in Chicago, only more gullible than he would ever be.
3. And if Tyler was his detective sidekick!
4. Senior year is ridiculous. Everything at the school seems to be falling around my feet, all the silly lofty ideas I had. It's good to know I only have one more week of being there.
5. The habit is so ingrained that I brought my Jazz I folder home from Carnaby Club Saturday night.
6. Apparently (haha!) we drowned out the show choir on Knock on Wood. How...surprising. I'll tell you, taking that last section up an octave was pretty difficult at the end of the night. But obviously well worth it.
7. Jazz I is over. For good. I am having a hard time believing it. It is strange to think that something I've worked so hard for 3 years running is now finished.
8. I'm looking forward to going to Springfield. I've had to turn down so many opportunities just because I'm going to be there 3 days; it's ridiculous. So I am impatient for it to finally happen, to show to me it was worth it.
9. Of course it will be-- I'll get to see that chubby little Bechard baby!
10. I am dying to sing something soon. I miss performing. I need an excuse.
11. If I don't end up doing summer Shakespeare (looking very doubtful) I think it would be great to put on The Importance of Being Earnest.
12. Really, I'll say it again, Due South is fantastic.
13. It's time for me to read some more Patrick O'Brian. I miss it sooooo much!
14. The only thing is, it makes me want to sail. I want to be out on the sea. I want to climb rigging and skylark. I want the salt-spray in my face!
15. And here I am, in Iowa. Oh, I love Iowa, but if only it had an ocean.
16. Of course, that would be ridiculous.
17. As it is, Lake Red Rock is pretty nice. I'm enjoying being able to drive there when the weather is nice.
18. I'm praying the weather is nice for Tulip Time-- I'm in a parade every day! I think the only parade I won't be in is Friday night.
19. I bought new wooden shoes. They rock. They were cheap. New wooden shoes that are carved and painted are not. These were from a garage sale.
