Style
- Where I shop: Second-hand shops. So that would include consigment and thrift stores and all those weird little stores in-between. I also shop clearance racks. I figure you never know which piece of clothing is going to last forever, so why spend a lot of money? It's FUN to be frugal!
- Brands I love: I love my KangaROO shoes.
- I like to wear: Lots of skirt. Capris! T-shirts from memorable days and groups. Clogs and slides.
- Can't live without: My London Glam perfume... it's a scent with wonderful memories. And I love my swishy purple velour skirt!
- Prized Possessions: My very few beautiful hairclips and my many, many scarves. Also my formal dresses... it's nice to look through formals and say, "That one cost me $4.00. That one was marked $7.50 but the clerk only charged me $2.75. Wow, I splurged on that one, $10.00!" And oh yes, my gloves.
- Guilty Pleasure: No matter how hard I try, I can't make it through a week in the winter without wearing a hoodie sweatshirt at least once.
Music
- Favorite Artists: Keith Green, Johann Sebastian Bach, Duke Ellington, Zan Mcleoud, Judy Rogers, The Killers, Shania Twain, Dizzy Gillespie, Switchfoot, The Boston Pops, Mark Heard, Michael Card, Wynton Marsalis, Jim Croce, Thelonius Monk, Herbie Hancock, Ella Fitzgerald, Eva Cassidy
- Favorite Albums: Sonny Side Up; Nothing is Sound; Songs for the Shepherd
- Favorite Genre: I really love jazz, but that's such a wide category...
- Favorite Lyrics: "and we can laugh/and we can cry/and never see the strong hand of love hidden in the shadows"
- Songs for Roadtrips: The best songs for roadtrips are country and bluegrass songs. Trust me.
- Songs I hate: SOS-- Ugh!
- Guilty Pleasure: Red Hot Chili Peppers
- Songs I repeat the most: Anything from Phantom of the Opera or Oklahoma... could it be any worse? Probably not. But actually, come to think of it, be glad it's not Cats.
- Band I wish I was in: What? I am in the coolest band ever! If by coolest you mean nerdy highschool band! But that is still the coolest! DUTCH PRIDE!
