    Oh, Twin! It IS very sad. :-( I'm looking forward to seeing everyone, but I was soooo disappointed you couldn't make it too! I miss you back! I'm glad you're sending things... then maybe people will stop teasing me about leaving my formal wear... or probably, they won't, but oh well. Yes! We will continue to hope for November! And that is actually in some ways better because I'll be doing Farmer's Market every Saturday until October ends, which kind of ties me down.     P.S. Dry heat is like being trapped inside a food dehydrator... all moisture on your skin is sucked into the air immediately, hair doesn't frizz, nothing mildews, and hanging clothes on the line for a few hours is sufficient if it's sunny. The disadvantages include being glued to a water bottle, needed for your very existence, and feeling dehydrated frequently. The best thing to do in dry heat is to go to the pool and sit in it up to your neck, drinking something cold. :-)

    Dear Twin, I hope I can! Unfortunately things are still a bit up in the air... I don't know yet if we're going to go visit relatives. But thank you so much for the invite! :-) I know it would be a blast! I agree that girls are much more girly, and I hereby volunteer to help provide chocolate if it does work out for me to come.     Hannah, I was just reading your profile and I had to tell you, I started laughing when I got to the "where I shop" section because that is absolutely me! :-) I love wearing my expensive corduroy clogs and reflecting that they cost me only $1! If you do get to come visit here, we should organize a shopping expedition. There is a Goodwill here that prices almost all of their inventory at 95 cents. You would love it. And I too like to buy inexpensive formalwear...because frugal IS fun, and also, because the way these dances go, there is always the chance that it will suffer damage... ask me sometime about the time I needed around fifteen safety pins after a polka... ;-)
